The original Fall was well understood by ancient prophets even before writing and it described how Man had gone apart from God, which was in that time no different from "Nature's God". The Fall was compounded when when the Jews parted from Egypt, and again when Christ was crucified. Wars ever since have in each case reaffirmed the verdict against those among Men who were ungodly. Now an another factor has compounded Man's sins again: gluttony has become the mechanical harvesting of millions of tons of sentient beings - the fishes and cattle - as if they were no more than dirt. In the extinction of the dinosaurs, those beasts were ferocious cruel reptilian carnivores, and they were gradually led to extinction by God and the sinless, innocent and meek. In every case, innocents were lost in the carnage. Caution must be exercised about the kinds of people one is vulnerable to. America will probably be safe; apparently no democracy with a per capita income less than about $6,028 dollars has fallen because its people stand to lose too much to abandon democracy. Whether nuclear war occurs or not seems to depend on how hardened Man is in the worst of his sins - the cruelty, killing and rapacity especially. First, some preliminary quick history.
